Somebody in our school has been missing since December, and last week he was found in the Charles River. He had apparently committed suicide.

The paper says, “It will be the first suicide by an undergraduate at MIT in three years. The last one was that of Julia M. Carpenter ’03 in 2001.

“Not including Mun, 48 undergraduate and graduate students at MIT have committed suicide in the past 39 years.”
